We scrutinize the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ management of inland waterways, ports, flood damage reduction projects and other water resources to promote cost-effective solutions and prevent wasteful spending. Our work includes advocating for modernizing and maintaining inland waterway systems critical for commerce, while pushing for reforms to prioritize safety, environmental restoration, and fiscal responsibility. For example, we support dam removal where it is a more cost-effective alternative to ongoing maintenance, improving public safety and restoring ecosystems.
