Peoples Bancorp, Inc. operates as the holding company for Peoples Bank, National Association, which provides various financial services and products that include commercial and retail banking, insurance, brokerage, and trust services in the United States. The company accepts interest-bearing and non-interest-bearing demand deposit accounts, savings accounts, money market accounts, and certificates of deposits. It also offers commercial, financial, and agricultural loans; commercial real estate loans; residential real estate loans; home equity lines of credit; real estate construction loans; and consumer loans. In addition, the company provides credit and debit cards, corporate and personal trust services, safe deposit rental facilities, telephone and Internet-based banking services, and travelers’ checks, money orders, and cashiers’ checks. Further, it offers life, health, property, and casualty insurance products. Additionally, the company provides investment opportunities, such as low-income housing tax credit funds or projects and venture capital. It serves customers in the health care, education, and other social services; plastics and petrochemical manufacturing; oil, gas, and coal production; and tourism and other service-related industries.
