HopFed Bancorp, Inc. operates as the holding company for Heritage Bank that provides commercial banking services in southwestern Kentucky, and northwestern and middle Tennessee. The company was founded in 1879 and is based in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
In December HopFed announced that it would participate in the Treasury Department’s Capital Purchase Program. Under the program the company received $18.4 million in exchange for preferred stock.
