This week, Taxpayers for Common Sense joined other organizations calling on Congress to reject calls to expand price support subsidies for certain farm commodity crops at the expense of taxpayers, consumers, beginning farmers, and the environment. Price Loss Coverage (PLC) subsidies are expected to cost taxpayers more than $4 billion annually beginning in 2027.
