Today, Sens. McCaskill (D-MO), Grassley (R-IA) and several others introduced legislation to strengthen the Inspector General for Troubled Asset Recovery Plan.

“This legislation will strengthen the existing Special IG position and help ensure that taxpayers get an accurate, timely and full accounting about how the $700 billion provided under the program is spent,” said Ms. Ryan Alexander, President of Taxpayers for Common Sense.
